We’ve had some questions about why the office name and contact info isn’t available before applying. I just wanted to take a minute to explain why:
When we were doing our research to build our Job Board, a very common request from dental offices was that we leave off the dental office contact information and leave it up to the office to allow that access. For the most part, it was because offices didn’t want to get flooded with applications, resumes, faxes and direct phone calls once they post a job. So the way the Job Board currently works, once an office has viewed your applications / resume, they contact your directly for any interviews, questions, etc.
At the same time, we do understand that sometimes you’d like to know the office you’re applying to. It might be your own office, or it might be an office where you know you don’t want to work. To help with that, we provide the distance to the office from your home, so that gives you a rough idea in terms of either identifying offices you want to avoid, or at least ruling out your own office.
As always, TempStars is a work in progress. So we’ve very appreciate of any feedback, questions or suggestions you might have to improve our Job Board. You really do make a difference and help us make sure the service is the best it can be for you!
