TempStars Complaints Policy

Over the course of 1000’s of completed placements, our members rate 97% of all placements as “Good” or “Very Good”, so we have a great track record, which has allowed us to quickly become Canada’s largest, fastest growing and #1 Rated dental temping service.

Despite this, there is the occasional mis-match or bad experience.  In the majority of these cases, it’s not a big deal – we just blocked the office and the hygienist/assistant from each other’s account, so they don’t work together again.

In a very small percentage of cases, the situation leaves either the hygienist/assistant or the office wanting to make a significant complaint against the other.  Our ‘Complaints Policy’ is to address these situations, and violating our Complaints Policy may result in your account being removed from TempStars.

  • If you have a serious issue with anything you experience through a TempStars connection, notify us immediately.

  • Don’t post anything negative on Social Media or Review sites until you have communicated with us.

  • Don’t report anything to a licensing or regulatory body unless you have discussed the matter with us first.

  • If possible, discuss your concerns with office management – it’s very often a misunderstanding that just needs clarification.

  • Don’t work in an environment that you feel puts yourself or your license at risk.

  • If you have concerns about the safety of patients at an office, notify and discuss with us before taking any actions.

  • If you feel there is a severe violation of infection control protocols that puts patients in jeopardy, first seek clarification with office management, and notify us.

Because TempStars was founded by a dentist, we have genuine concern and interest in quality patient care, safety, infection control protocols and respect for staff and employees.  In a situation where there is a bad experience, we will gather all the information and facts from both sides, and handle it in a way that best protects patients and serves the dental profession and community.
