TempStars v3.0 is here!!

As of last week, TempStars v3.0 is available for all our members to use! As a symbol of the major changes we’ve made to TempStars over the years and especially in recent months, and to show that we are taking great strides forward – we decided it was time for v3.0.

After releasing last week, we have received a lot of helpful comments and feedback. Thank you all for your support and feedback! One of the genuine advantages of the way we operate is that we actively listen to members and implement changes very quickly to better meet your needs.

Here are some of the new features in v3.0…

PPE & Infection Control Measures

We all know, the PPE Guidelines have been a bit of a moving target. As we gather new information and feedback daily, we’re constantly adjusting the service to best accommodate these change and strengthen trust between our dental office members and the hygienists/assistants we connect.

To build and strengthen this trust in these early days of “post-COVID-19”, when an office posts a temping shift to TempStars, they’re now able to specify precisely which PPE and protocols they have in place – and this information is seen in the posting by hygienists/assistants before they send in their offers. That way everyone knows the situation, and we minimize the chance of last-minute surprises.

Further, for hygienist temping shifts, and office can now indicate in the posting if the office is expecting the shift to include Aerosol Generating Procedures. That way offices know that any hygienist who sends an offer to work a shift is making an informed decision about working at the office.

In this new environment, TRUST and SAFTEY are the biggest factors in connecting for temping shifts, and this update will really improve the chances of consistent and predictable happy matches!

In-App Help Widget

To make it easier for members to answer questions or get in touch with us quickly, we have created an in-app Help Widget. It’s the little red “Help” flag on the app home screen. From right in the app, you can get in touch with our friendly and responsive Member Support Team with the click of a button. Communication solves most questions and concerns, and we just made that easier for you to do!

Full Time Member Support and Help Centre

During the Coronavirus shut-down, our entire team was still working full time to build new features, provide ongoing valuable resources to our community, and further build out the systems we use to support our members.

So we now have a full-time friendly, responsive and helpful Member Support Team, ready to assist you. On top of that, we built out a very comprehensive Help Centre with dynamically searchable topics. This is the Big Leagues!
