Apple’s Elmvale Dental Clinic in Ottawa is looking for a passionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our welcoming family dental practice. As a Dental Hygienist with our team, your responsibilities will include performing dental debridement, prophylaxis, and fluoride treatments, as well as motivating patients to stay committed to their re-care appointments. You will take digital dental X-rays and intraoral images, conduct periodontal charting, and maintain accurate patient records. A key part of your role will also involve educating patients on effective oral health practices and guiding them toward appropriate treatments with our dentists.
To be successful in this position, you will need a valid Ontario Dental Hygienist licence in good standing, along with proficiency in dental terminology and dental software. Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude are essential. Bilingual proficiency in French is highly advantageous, and candidates with zero to one year of experience are preferred, though all experience levels are welcome and considered an asset.
