We are seeking a reliable, professional, and patient-focused Dental Receptionist to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a busy dental environment, we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our practice, responsible for managing the front desk and delivering exceptional patient service. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include greeting and assisting patients, answering phone calls, managing and confirming appointments, handling cancellations, filling schedule openings, and following up with patients regarding recalls and unscheduled treatment. You will also manage office emails, voicemails, and patient messages, process payments, maintain accurate patient records, and collaborate closely with dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, and other team members.
A solid understanding of dental insurance is essential for this position. You will be responsible for submitting and following up on insurance claims, managing predeterminations and treatment estimates, reviewing outstanding or rejected claims, verifying insurance information, and helping patients clearly understand their treatment costs and coverage options.
Proficiency with ABELDent is required, as you will use it daily for scheduling, patient records, billing, and other administrative tasks. Previous experience with ABELDent or similar dental office management software is strongly preferred.
The ideal candidate will bring excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and multitasking skills to the role. You should be dependable and professional, equally comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team. The ability to remain composed and efficient in a fast-paced environment is essential, and familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a definite asset.
This is a permanent, full-time position requiring availability five to six days per week, including Saturdays. The regular start time is 8:30 AM, with end times varying based on the daily schedule and office needs.
If you are an experienced Dental Receptionist looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with a supportive and professional dental team, we encourage you to apply by submitting your resume and a brief introduction through TempStars.
