Responsibilities:

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and materials.
Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and patient satisfaction.

Beneficial Skills:

Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Assisting experience in all facets of general dentistry is highly desirable.
Familiarity with dental software such as Abel for patient management.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.

Qualifications:

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential Level II
