We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and passionate about providing excellent patient care.
As a key member of our clinical team, you will assist the dentist during a wide range of procedures, including restorative, endodontic, surgical, and emergency treatments. Your responsibilities will include preparing and setting up treatment rooms before and after procedures, taking and developing digital dental X-rays, and assisting with impressions, scans, and other laboratory procedures. You will also prepare and sterilize instruments, maintain proper infection-control protocols, and ensure the operatory remains clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
In this role, you will provide patients with clear pre- and post-operative instructions, assist with charting, clinical documentation, and treatment notes, and help ensure a smooth and efficient patient flow throughout the day. Supporting both the dentist and hygienist as needed, you will communicate with patients in a professional and compassionate manner while following all applicable infection-control, health and safety, and workplace protocols. Additional clinical and administrative duties may be required as the role evolves.
The ideal candidate will hold a Dental Assisting certification (preferred) and a valid HARP certification (required), along with previous dental assisting experience. A solid understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and infection-control standards is essential. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are a must, as is the ability to multitask effectively in a busy dental environment. Experience with Open Dental software is considered a valuable asset.
We are proud to offer a friendly and supportive team environment where you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced dental professionals, grow your skills, and advance your career. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
If you are an enthusiastic Dental Assistant who thrives in a collaborative setting and is dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care, we would love to welcome you to our team!
