Join our welcoming team at Dentistry on Gloucester in the heart of downtown Toronto! We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Dental Assistant who is passionate about patient care and thrives in a supportive, modern practice environment.
In this role, you will assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures while preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments in accordance with infection control protocols. You will take digital radiographs (HARP certification required), educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care, and maintain accurate patient records and clinical notes. Additional responsibilities include managing inventory, ensuring operatories are fully stocked, and upholding a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment — all while contributing to an exceptional patient experience alongside a collaborative team.
The ideal candidate holds a Dental Assistant certification (Level II preferred) along with current HARP and CPR certifications. Experience with digital radiography and dental software is essential, and familiarity with Open Dental is a definite asset. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and a keen attention to detail. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, paired with a positive, patient-focused attitude, will make you a great fit for our team.
