We are an established dental practice in a state-of-the-art facility, seeking a dedicated and skilled dental assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills to create a welcoming environment for patients.
Responsibilities
– Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments by preparing instruments and materials.
– Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
– Maintain patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using dental software.
– Educate patients on post-treatment care.
– Sterilize and disinfect instruments and treatment areas to ensure compliance with health regulations.
– Manage patient flow in the office.
Skills
– Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures.
– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
– Experience in fabricating night guards, bleach trays, and other oral appliances.
