We are seeking a dependable, skilled, and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our wonderful team at a small, privately owned downtown clinic. Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:15 AM – 4:15 PM (with a 30-minute lunch break)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Compensation: $60.00 – $70.00/hr
In this role, you will provide gentle, patient-centered hygiene therapy along with oral health education and individualized oral hygiene instruction. Additional responsibilities include taking digital radiographs, maintaining accurate patient records and planned treatment documentation, scheduling re-care appointments with appropriate unit allocation, supporting sterilization procedures, and contributing wherever needed to keep the clinic running smoothly. Strict infection control protocols are followed at all times to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff alike.
The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who thinks critically and ahead, communicates with warmth and professionalism, and thrives both independently and as part of a collaborative team. A genuine love of patient care and a kind, considerate nature are essential. Familiarity with Power Practice dental software and Cadi digital X-rays is considered a strong asset.
Requirements:
– Valid BC dental hygiene license and current liability insurance
