What You'll Be Doing - Assisting the dentist during a variety of procedures, ensuring efficient and well-organized clinical care - Preparing and maintaining operatories, instruments, and equipment in accordance with IPAC guidelines - Performing instrument reprocessing and sterilization in compliance with current standards - Taking and processing digital dental radiographs as required - Assisting with digital dentistry procedures, including CEREC and intraoral scanning - Maintaining accurate and timely clinical notes and patient records using Dentrix - Ensuring all clinical areas are clean, stocked, and ready for patient care - Supporting smooth patient flow by preparing for appointments and anticipating the clinical team's needs - Providing a warm, professional, and reassuring experience for every patient - Following all office protocols, infection prevention procedures, and workplace safety requirements What You Bring - A Dental Assisting diploma or equivalent recognized qualification - Current certification and qualifications required to perform dental assisting duties in Ontario - Previous dental assisting experience is preferred - Experience with Dentrix, CEREC, intraoral scanners (IOC), and digital radiography is strongly preferred - A solid understanding of infection prevention and control (IPAC) protocols - Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills - A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine willingness to learn - The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team - Dependability, punctuality, and a detail-oriented commitment to excellent patient care What We Offer - A supportive and professional team environment - The opportunity to work with modern dental technology across a broad range of procedures - Ongoing opportunities to expand your clinical knowledge and develop your skills - A welcoming practice that values teamwork, accountability, and quality patient care If you are enthusiastic about dentistry, take pride in providing excellent clinical support, and are looking to grow with an established practice, we would love to hear from you!
