Registered Dental Hygienist

Apple's Elmvale Dental Clinic in Ottawa is looking for a passionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our welcoming family dental practice. We take pride in fostering a supportive team environment where every member is valued, and we are excited to welcome both new graduates and experienced professionals who are eager to grow with us. As a Dental Hygienist with our team, your responsibilities will include performing dental debridement, prophylaxis, and fluoride treatments, as well as motivating patients to stay committed to their re-care appointments. You will take digital dental X-rays and intraoral images, conduct periodontal charting, and maintain accurate patient records. A key part of your role will also involve educating patients on effective oral health practices and guiding them toward appropriate treatments with our dentists. To be successful in this position, you will need a valid Ontario Dental Hygienist licence in good standing, along with proficiency in dental terminology and dental software. Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude are essential. Bilingual proficiency in French is highly advantageous, and candidates with zero to one year of experience are preferred, though all experience levels are welcome and considered an asset. We offer a competitive wage based on experience, a comprehensive group benefits package that includes dental care, extended health care, life insurance, vision care, and paid time off, as well as the convenience of on-site parking. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a practice that truly invests in its people. If you are a dedicated dental professional looking to build a rewarding career in a friendly and professional environment, we would love to hear from you.
