Part-Time Dental Assistant / Dental Receptionist

Part-Time Dental Assistant / Dental Receptionist We are seeking a motivated, flexible part-time dental assistant and receptionist to support our dental team. The ideal candidate will handle both clinical assisting and front desk duties, with the ability to float as needed. Responsibilities Dental Assistant / Clinical Support - Assist the hygienist with X-rays, polishing, and intraoral scanning - Scan and prepare patient records and materials - Room setup, turnover, and sterilization in accordance with safety protocols - Support with chair-side duties, patient comfort, and basic clinical tasks as directed - Occasionally help with other clinical duties as needed Receptionist / Administrative Support - Greet patients and manage patient flow - Appointment scheduling and recall/reminders - Verify and communicate insurance information; contact insurance companies as needed - Manage front desk phone calls and patient inquiries - Notify patients of appointment changes and follow-ups - Additional administrative tasks as assigned Schedule (Part-Time) Monday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM Tuesday: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM Thursday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Requirements - Prior dental assisting and/or front desk experience preferred - Familiarity with dental software (OpenCare a plus) - Strong communication and organizational skills - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Comfortable with sterilization and basic clinical duties - Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
