Part-time Dental Assistant

Key Responsibilities - Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, ortho, implants, oral surgery, etc. - Take and process dental radiographs (HARP certification required) in compliance with safety standards - Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms according to infection control protocols - Maintain accurate patient records and update charts using dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Tracker) - Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure operatory is fully stocked - Perform intra-oral duties such as applying fluoride, desensitizing agents, and temporary restorations (if certified) Qualifications - Certified Dental Assistant Level I or II (CDA II) with HARP certification (or provincial equivalent) - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a general or specialty dental practice - Proficient in dental software and digital radiography - Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization procedures - Excellent communication and patient care skills - Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Preferred Attributes - Experience assisting with implants, orthodontics, or oral surgery - Farsi/Turkish proficiency is an asset - Abeldent experience is an asset What We Offer - Competitive salary based on experience - A supportive, team-oriented work environment
