Registered Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities: • Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care services • Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services at the highest standard possible, including scaling, root planing, polishing consistent with CDHO guidelines, fluoride applications, oral hygiene instruction and whitening • Determine individualized hygiene treatment plans and effectively communicate these to patients • Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and providing counseling • Deliver a consistent patient experience during each hygiene visit • Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical and professional behavior • Build and retain patient loyalty by delivering tailored experiences based on patients' expectations • Demonstrate active listening and empathy using effective communication skills Requirements and Qualifications: • Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program • Current registration with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO) • Valid CPR Certification (asset) • Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekends as needed • Previous dental assisting experience preferred • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities • Punctual and reliable work ethic • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to adapt to various patient needs • Experience with dental practice management software (such as Dentrix) considered an asset What We Offer: • Permanent positions • Competitive wages • Opportunity to work at multiple locations • Supportive and skilled team environment • Ongoing training and mentorship • Collaborative, fast-paced work setting • Convenient and flexible working schedule
