Dental Assistant Level II

Wexford Dental is currently hiring a part-time, energetic and hardworking Dental Assistant Level II to join our team of professionals at our clinic in Scarborough, near Lawrence Ave E and Warden. Our practice is completely digital and we perform all areas of dental treatment. Schedule: FT (4/5 days between Monday-Saturday) Pay: $20 - $26 per hour depending on experience About you: - Completion of a Certified Dental Assisting Level II Diploma Required - Current registration with HARP is required - A minimum of 2 years of dental experience preferred About the job: - Prepare dental instruments and filling materials and provide clinical chairside assisting duties including knowledge of instrumentation - Prepare patients for dental examinations, takes and develops x-rays - Maintain patient relations through ongoing dialogue with patients before, during and after treatment - Identify and respond to dissatisfied patients with the appropriate recovery action - Conduct care calls post treatment to ensure patient comfort, answer questions and resolve any concerns - Record dental procedures performed on patients - Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment - Ensure all clinical and storage areas are clean, neat and free from clutter and prohibited/unnecessary materials at all times - Occasionally will answer the phone when needed - Record keeping and quality assurance - Inventory management
