  • Account is not currently under any restrictions
  • Eligible activities completed during the Promotional Period (April 1–30, 2026)

Talent Eligibility

  • All registered dental hygienists and dental assistants are eligible
  • Must hold an Active, Pro, or Elite account status
  • Applies to eligible members across Canada and the USA

Office Eligibility

  • All registered dental office accounts are eligible — new, active, and reactivated
  • Offices located in all active TempStars markets in Canada and the USA
  • No account status restrictions beyond the general requirements below

1. Promotion Overview

TempStars is pleased to offer its Spring Into Action promotion (the "Promotion") for April 2026. The Promotion is designed to reward dental professionals ("Talent") for completing temping shifts during the promotional period, and to offer dental offices ("Offices") an incentive to post and complete shifts through the TempStars platform.

The Promotion runs from April 1, 2026 through April 30, 2026, inclusive (the "Promotional Period").

2. Eligibility
2.1 General Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in the Promotion, participants must:

  • Be a registered TempStars member in good standing at the time of participation and at the time of reward fulfillment;
  • Be a resident of Canada or the United States of America;
  • Have a TempStars account that is not currently under restrictions;
  • Complete eligible activities during the Promotional Period as defined in these Terms and Conditions.
2.2 Talent Eligibility

All registered dental professionals (hygienists and dental assistants) with an Active, Pro, or Elite account status are eligible to participate in the Talent-side incentive.

2.3 Office Eligibility

All registered dental office accounts – including new, active, and reactivated offices – are eligible to participate in the Office-side BOGO incentive. This includes offices located in all active TempStars markets in Canada and the United States.

Accounts flagged for fraudulent activity, under administrative review, or otherwise in violation of TempStars' Terms of Service are not eligible.

3. Talent Incentive Structure
3.1 Tiered Reward Program

Eligible Talent who complete verified temping shifts through TempStars during the Promotional Period will qualify for guaranteed gift card rewards as follows:

  • Tier 1 – Complete 3 or more shifts during the Promotional Period: $25 gift card (guaranteed).
  • Tier 2 – Complete 6 or more shifts during the Promotional Period: $50 gift card (guaranteed).

Rewards are exclusive: a Talent qualifying for Tier 2 (6+ shifts) receives a $50 gift card only – not a $25 card in addition. The highest tier earned is the reward issued. There is no grand prize draw or lottery component. Rewards are guaranteed upon meeting the applicable shift threshold.

3.2 What Counts as a Completed Shift

To count toward the Promotion, a shift must:

  • Be booked through the TempStars platform;
  • Have a status of "Completed" (Job.status = 4) in the TempStars system; and
  • Have a shift start date (Job.startDate) that falls within the Promotional Period of April 1–30, 2026.

Shifts completed outside the Promotional Period do not count, regardless of when they were booked.

3.3 Manually Reported Shifts

Talent who complete shifts that were arranged outside of TempStars but wish to report them in accordance with TempStars' manual shift logging process may have those shifts considered for the Promotion, provided they are reported no later than May 3, 2026. TempStars reserves the right to verify manually reported shifts and to exclude any that cannot be substantiated.

3.4 Shift Adjustments

The following circumstances will affect shift count calculations:

  • If a dental office cancels a booked shift, the affected Talent will receive a credit of +0.5 shifts toward the Promotion.
  • If a dental office modifies the hours of a booked shift in a way that renders the shift unacceptable to the booked Talent, that shift will be credited as +0.5 shifts.
  • If a Talent arrives at an office and must leave due to the office's failure to meet provincial or state infection control or PPE requirements, that shift will be credited as +0.5 shifts.
  • If a Talent cancels a confirmed booked shift for any reason, that cancellation will result in a deduction of 1 shift from their total count. A physician's note may be considered at TempStars' sole discretion in exceptional circumstances.

Shift credits and deductions are applied by TempStars' operations team following review of the relevant records. Determinations are final.

4. Office Incentive Structure – BOGO
4.1 Buy One, Get One Free

Eligible Offices that complete at least one (1) temping shift through TempStars during the Promotional Period will receive a credit equal to one (1) complimentary placement fee to be applied to their next completed temping shift.

  • The credit is equivalent to one standard TempStars placement fee applicable to the office's market (approximately $73 CAD or $38 USD depending on market).
  • The BOGO offer is limited to one (1) free shift credit per office account for the duration of the Promotional Period.
  • Credits are not transferable, not redeemable for cash, and may not be combined with other promotional offers unless expressly permitted by TempStars.
  • The complimentary credit will be applied to the office's account following the completion and verification of the qualifying shift. Credits will be made available for use after the Promotional Period concludes and will not expire.
4.2 Credit Application

Office credits will be tracked manually by TempStars' operations team during the Promotional Period. Credits will be applied to the office's next completed shift automatically where technically feasible, or manually applied by the TempStars team upon the office's next placement.

5. Geographic Scope

The Promotion applies to all TempStars markets in Canada and the United States.

TempStars acknowledges that shift availability varies by market. In markets with limited shift availability (particularly newer U.S. markets), some Talent may find it difficult to reach tier thresholds solely due to supply constraints. TempStars acknowledges that this limitation is real and will continue to promote expansion in these areas so this limitation does not persist as the business continues to grow.

6. Reward Fulfillment
6.1 Talent Gift Cards

Qualifying Talent will receive their gift card reward via TempStars' Amazon gift card distribution system within 30 days following the close of the Promotional Period (i.e., on or before May 30, 2026). Rewards will be sent to the email address associated with the Talent's TempStars account.

TempStars will generate a shift completion report to identify qualifying Talent. Talent are responsible for ensuring their account information and email address are current and accurate. TempStars is not responsible for rewards that cannot be delivered due to inaccurate or outdated account information.

6.2 Office Credits

Office credits will be applied to qualifying accounts within 30 days following the close of the Promotional Period, as described in Section 4.2.

6.3 Winner Announcement

TempStars will publish a general campaign wrap-up announcement on or around May 5, 2026, celebrating the overall results of the Promotion (e.g., total shifts completed, impact metrics). Individual winners will not be publicly named without their prior written consent. Participants who wish to opt out of any recognition may notify TempStars support.

7. Publicity and Social Media

By participating in this Promotion, Talent and Offices acknowledge that TempStars may celebrate the results of the Promotion on its social media channels and marketing materials. Individual participants will not be identified by name or image without providing express prior written consent. Any participant who wishes to be featured in TempStars' promotional content (including photos, testimonials, or social posts) must provide written authorization to TempStars, and all individuals captured in any images must separately consent to the use of their likeness.

8. General Conditions
  • TempStars reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants and shift completions prior to issuing rewards.
  • TempStars reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant who is found to have tampered with the Promotion, violated these Terms and Conditions, or engaged in fraudulent or unsportsmanlike conduct.
  • TempStars reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Promotion at any time if circumstances arise that compromise the integrity or fairness of the Promotion, subject to applicable law. In the event of cancellation, TempStars will fulfill rewards earned up to the date of cancellation.
  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where a participant resides in a jurisdiction that requires the application of local laws.
  • By participating in the Promotion, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by TempStars' general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference.
  • TempStars' decisions with respect to all aspects of the Promotion, including eligibility determinations, shift credits and deductions, and reward fulfillment, are final and binding.
9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TempStars, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and suppliers (collectively, the "Released Parties") shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, even if the Released Parties have been advised of the possibility of such damages, resulting from:

  • your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the Promotion;
  • any conduct or content of any third party related to the Promotion;
  • any goods, services, or information obtained through the Promotion; or
  • unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
In no event shall the aggregate liability of the Released Parties exceed the greater of one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100) or the amount you paid TempStars, if any, in the six months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations apply to any theory of liability, whether based on warranty, contract, statute, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, and whether or not the Released Parties have been informed of the possibility of any such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed its essential purpose.
