"Temping is a wonderful way to break out of a career slump. When the office and patients became so familiar, and the job too comfortable--- I knew I had to make a change without letting go of the security of my regular shifts. Temping forced me to be on my toes from the moment I entered a new office. Every operatory, every steri-centre, every team was a novelty. Learning to do the same old things in a new or different way, new environment, new faces --- kept the job feeling fresh again. Every shift was a different adventure. I broke out of the rut, and I am enjoying every minute of it."

The contest is easy! Simply book your shifts and get to work.

The dental hygienist or assistant who completes the most shifts in their state will receive $250. The second runner-up will receive $100 and the third runner-up will receive $50.

Must be a resident of the United States of America to participate in this promotion.

Shifts must be completed on or between July 1st and August 31st, 2022.

The TempStars member (hygienist or dental assistant) who completes the most shifts in their state during this time will earn a $250 bonus from TempStars. 2nd place will receive $100. 3rd place will receive $50.

Any TempStars member (hygienist or dental assistant) who completes 6 shifts by the end of the promotion will receive a $75.

Any TempStars member (hygienist or dental assistant) who completes 10 shifts by the end of the promotion will receive a $125.

Any TempStars member (hygienist or dental assistant) who completes 15 shifts or more by the end of the promotion will receive a $20 per shift.

The TempStars member (hygienist or dental assistant) must hold an active, pro, or elite account status with no more than 5% of bad feedback for the shifts completed throughout the duration of the promotion and end date of the promotion in order to be eligible for any prizes listed above.

If an office changes the hours of a booked shift that causes the shift to be unacceptable to the booked member, the shift is credited as +0.5 shift.

If an office cancels a booked shift, this will be counted as a +0.5 shift.

In the unlikely event, a member arrives at an office to discover the infection control protocols or PPE supplies do not adhere to state guidelines and must leave as a result, this will be counted as a +0.5 shift.

If a member cancels a shift for any reason, this is counted as -5.0 shifts (no exceptions, although a doctor's note may be given consideration if provided).

If there's a tie, then the prize goes to the one with the best reviews for those shifts.

If there's still a tie after comparing total shifts and reviews, then the prize is split amongst those tied.

Don't forget to manually book/report shifts - they must be for shifts completed on or between July 1st and August 31st, 2022, and logged/entered by September 2nd 2022 to be counted.

Note: We'll honour the rules fairly, but there may be some circumstances we didn't anticipate when creating this contest and the rules. Therefore, ultimately judgment of the winners and the application of the rules is final, being solely and exclusively at the sole discretion of TempStars.

No purchase is required to participate in this promotion.

The winner of the promotion shall provide TempStars with photo images of the winner(s) and their winnings to be used on the social media accounts of TempStars. All persons captured in the image must provide consent to have their photo captured and released.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Rules or the rights and obligations of participants, Sponsor or any of the other the Released Parties in connection with the Contest will be governed by and construed in accordance with the domestic laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws. The parties hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Ontario in any action to enforce (or otherwise relating to) these Rules or relating to this Contest.
